  Malawi Party Card vs US Passport HYPOCRISY of Gibbering Buddy

  as we all know jws were persecuted in malawi, beaten tortured and murdered, because they would not purchase (for about 70 cents) a card saying they support the political rule at that time.

  if they did they wd be df .. what must a us citizen do in order to get a passport - and how in god's name do the wt leaders get one without a compromise nobody else wd be allowed to make?.

  is this another case like the change on vaccinations in 53,because nathan homo knorrr knew he cd die of tropical diseases touring the third world.

  It's perfectly fine to do anything in the WT org. Just don't TALK about it. And if you talk about people doing things that seem to be hypocritical, you will be labeled Crazy or Nuts, or A Liar, or An Old Bat Who Just Loves to Stir Up Trouble.

  When they are talking in the KH about how JWs are supposed to live according to Bible principles, it is unspoken but generally understood, that it is just conversation for the KH. It is NOT intended to apply to your actual everyday life. This was a lesson that took me over 25 years to learn. That's why they called me Crazy.

  Take advantage of the " search "option at the top of your screen,a wealth of information is already their for you to digest

  i think a lot of us fail to realise what a great tool , the search option is, and how valuable it can be to newbies to quickly find answers to what they are looking for , but not only newbies , long time posters seem to forget how easy an answer to a question can be obtained simply by using the search option for a question you want answered straight away.. this topic was inspired by a long time poster asking a question that i remembered being discussed some time back and within a minute using the search option i had the answer to his question.. i , myself am only now , really appreciating the benefits of this service , i hope you do also .. smiddy.

  It is so enjoyable to use the search here. I've looked up lots of life stories and comments about lots of stuff that catches my interest. JWN is my favorite website of all times. Thanks, guys!

  the enemy of jehovah's witnesses is the individual whose thoughts are their own & who demand reasonable access to alternate forms of source material other than officially approved ones.. there is no loyal opposition permitted for redress of abuse or clarification of policy.. .

  there are enemies, however.

  any person or group who does not agree is the declared enemy.. mind control on the part of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is not an openly declared boilerplate mission statement.

  The first description of mind control i ever read was written by Roseanne, the comedian. She said that when people felt approval from the group for saying one thing and disapproval from the group for saying another thing, they are experiencing mind control. That explanation was simple enough for me to get, poor dummy that i am.

  Once I realized that i had been thoroughly mind-controlled by the jw experience, i could make the decision to begin de-programming.

  i feel quite industrious when they are on so get the housework done..

  That "new" songbook really helped me on my way out. Many of the songs were just redone and edited versions of songs from the previous songbook. Songs that had been easy to sing had some notes changed or were shortened, etc.

  I just quit singing the last few meetings I attended, instead just stood and waited. The changes were so annoying but everyone remarked that we just had to get used to them.

  But I thought, I don't HAVE to get used to anything, this is just more ill treatment from an organization that keeps people from being happy.

  I have no Real Friends!

  i have come to a startling and sad realisation!.

  i have no real friends!.

  i have always been extremely active in every aspect of the org, since childhood.

  as Separation said, keeping busy in things that make you happy will be a great way to make friends. Of course it takes time for these to become true friends but you can have a great time in the meantime.

  i have been coping with exactly the same realizations as you describe! The pain and sadness has subsided a lot, the past few weeks. I like music lessons and the kids in the music store kid around with me, which is fun. (i'm a grammaw and old)

  i was thinking, if i still had girlfriends i'd be with them, not hanging out at the music store.

  so, stuff like that helps.
